Blendtec, round two

So, I received an e-mail the other day that the contest to win a Bendtec blender was extended until the end of December. Either they did not get enough entries...or they didn't get any good ones - or both.

I have to admit I don't really feel like our first entry is a winner. Our original idea was good but our execution is a little poor (see below for 1st entry). What can I say, my hands are a little camera shy and my husband doesn't mind drinking lumps (so we wasn't giving it 100%).

I took this as an opportunity to submit another video. I want this Blendtec for Christmas. I created this awesome video yesturday all by myself. I am super proud of it and really think I got a winner here...

RawReform Blendtec Contest

As you may already know, I am an aspiring raw foodist. In the morning I have a quart of green smoothie in hand, always.

The initial set-up of getting my kitchen 'raw' ready was expensive (as hell). We cut a few financial corners and bought a $40 Hamilton Beach blender from Amazon. It doesn't work very well and it leaves me drinking lumps.

I was super excited when I came across a contest for a chance to win a Blendtec blender from RawReform; retial value $399. I knew the only chance I had of drinking a smooth-smoothie was to win this contest. With a little help from my friends (and you know who he is) I came up with this video:
